En esta época convulsa que nos ha tocado vivir los cambios son incontables. Internet no podía ser menos. La blogosfera, que también se mueve, sufre cada día un imparable aluvión de bajas. Me entristece decir que muchos "blogs amigos" han caído en combate.Otro adiós, no por muy anunciado menos doloroso, nos deja con un espacio vacío. Las causas son varias y todas válidas, sin duda. Que hacer un blog sólo se entiende si el/la Hacedor/a de turno disfruta con la tarea. Así que entiendo muy bien estos cierres y no los critico. Soy consciente de que cualquier día yo mismo cerraré esta parada, es ley de vida.
Así surge mi pregunta: ¿para qué sirve un blog? En mi caso no para ganar un premio Ijjnotus, desde luego... al menos en la Realidad. Al final el buen criterio se impone y el fantasma de Philip K. Dick acaba jugando al golf con mi cabecita loca.
Después de cansarme en publicar paridas sobre el Ijjnotus viene el amigo Revuelta y sin despeinarse siquiera se lo lleva de calle... Felicidades para él, es un gran escritor a quien admiro. Sin duda es un premio bien merecido y no me sorprende en absoluto. Eso sí, espero que el peso del pedrusco no lastre su futura labor literaria. Yo le aconsejaría que utilice la Cosa como pisapapeles.
Entonces, si como operación de marketing es una caquita, ¿para qué sirve un blog? Para nada y para mucho. Para poder decir/escribir chorradas, utilizarlo como válvula de escape, una espita por donde sacar la presión que todo escritor (profesional o aficinado, da igual) siente en su interior. La mayoría de los bloggeros nos cuenta sus intimidades, otros nos hablan de acontecimientos, de esperanzas, de deseos o de frustraciones. Cada cual saca a relucir el tema que les recome en su interior.
Los blogs la mayoría de las veces actúan como psicólogos argentinos (¡che, viste boludo!) y nos permiten aposentarnos en un sillón virtual para ir explicando las derias que nos asaltan. Cada loco con su tema, cada chalado con su blog. Y de repente llega un día en que uno/a se da cuenta que ya no le hace falta explayarse en público de semejante forma, que todo lo que decía/escribía al viento no le estimula ni le libera como antes. ¿Está curado/a, ha superado la adicción? Sólo es una nueva etapa. Ni mejor ni peor, diferente.
Así que un buen día el/la Hacedor/a de Blog decide cerrar su púlpito, independientemente de que éste tenga más o menos público, y se dispone a explorar nuevos (o viejos) caminos. El blog ha sido una experiencia más que ha tocado a su fin.
Nada que objetar, me parece normal. Insisto, algún día yo también haré lo mismo. Pero hoy por hoy sigo notando esa compulsión a decir/escribir chorradas de tanto en tanto. Así que seguiremos en la brecha... de momento.
¿Para qué sirve un blog? Para atormentar a los/las pobres sufridores/as que se atrevan a explorarlo/leerlo.
¿No me creéis? Pues seguid leyéndome.... masocas.

Aun siendo ex-bloguero lector esporádico y sobre todo silencioso de tu espacio, me alegra que blogs como este sigan existiendo y les deseo larga vida.
Tienes toda la razón en lo relativo a la adicción a los mismos y a esa sensación de ser tu propio psicólogo. Son las 3 de la madrugada y aquí estoy... Pero me estoy curando. Lo prometo.
Pasaba por aquí y me ha parecido más que adecuado saludar en este momento, pero ya me voy ;-)
Un blog es un espacio personal en el que cada cual vierte lo que quiere decir y como herramientas de comunicación me parece muy útil. Si es cierto que, a veces, tienen muy pocos lectores, pero yo he sacado mucha información válida de blogs que leo. Válida en el sentido de que me he enterado de cosas que no sabía o he contrastado mis propias opiniones (con o sin comentario, eso es lo de menos). De los blogs que yo leía cada vez menos de ellos funcionan. Algunos es una verdadera lástima porque me aportaban muy buenas lecturas. Espero que el tuyo sobreviva a estos tiempos de cierre que corren. Larga vida y no te rindas.
Está claro que lo que uno busca en un blog puede ser distinto en cada persona, desde el hecho simple de compartir hasta utilizarlo como psicoanalizador terapéutico ocasional propio. Yo exactamente no te sabría decir que busco, compartir mis experiencias con los demás es un buen fin, hacerlo de tal manera que a quienes puedan leerlo les enganche puede ser un buen objetivo en general, y un ejercicio en particular. Puede que yo sea rarito (vale, sin "puede"), pero encuentro placer haciendo las cosas que quiero con la intención de entretener y sorprender a los demás. Quizás es una postura un poco egoista por mi parte, pues cuando esto ocurre te suelen elogiar y eso es estupendo para tu ego (tu anterior post, sin ir más lejos), pero también se puede dar el caso contrario, que no se le preste demasiada atención a algo a lo que has dedicado gran esfuerzo... O lo aceptas y continúas intentando mejorar, o te hundes en el fango. Muchas son las cosas que hago o me han ocurrido y que me hubieran gustado compartir con los demás, y de momento el blog y el Apoyo al desagüe es la mejor manera; esa simbiosis resultante de mi blog es lo que ahora mismo lo mantiene vivo, porque el hecho de que lo encontréis mínimamente interesante, para mí es agradable y es lo que saco de él.
Por otra parte, sí, ya sé que los ignotus no significan nada, ya sé que sólo es un pedrusco, ya sé que parecías muy mentalizado con que no te lo ibas a llevar... pero en el fondo siempre hace ilusión ganar un premio si se está nominado, salvo en "Gran Harmano" que ahí te echan, así que siento que no te lo llevases.
Oye, ahora que me fijo bien en la foto... identifico a tres... ¿El cuarto...?

Yo también espero que este blog sobreviva porque, entre nosotros, es especial. Me gusta porque es fresco (como tú, jodío), y nunca sabes qué te vas a encontrar en el momento en que clickeas. Y lo bueno, es que lo que te encuentras, siempre te entretiene, a veces te instruye, y casi siempre te hace reír (ej que alguna vez tratas temas que ni con tu sentido del humor pueden dejar de mosquearle a una, pero claro, ¿qué culpa tienes tú de que esta sociedad esté patas arriba?)
Sobre el cierre de esos blogs que hablas, no sé si es que ha habido una nueva baja en estos días o qué. El mío, caducó, ya lo dije, pero nunca se sabe qué puede traer la marea porque, para empezar, me ha servido como una perfecta válvula de escape, y no sólo (que aunque no lo parezca no es lo más importante), sino también para soltarme un poquito más en eso de intentar componer con letras.
Jo y, lo reconozco, no sabes la satisfacción que me ha dado que varias personas en la HispaCon me hayan preguntado si volveré a escribir en mi guarida. Y si se cierran, no pasa nada, la gente que cierra sus blogs (no quiero mirar a nadie :-) ) terminará abriendo un metagordiano nexoidal, la evolución natural de los blogs en unos poquitos años :-)
Creo que los blogs sirven para mantener el contacto con la gente, sobre todo con esos que no van a las hispacones y se pierden mi supercamiseta de las legiones del espacio que sé de dos que estan que rabian porque no se las pudieron comprar porque se acabaron. Y lo que disfruté dando envidia.
Además si no existieran los blogs que serian de las comentarista profesionales como yo.

Lo que no he contado de nuestra amiga Pily es que la tia es toda una profesional, que se queja de que no ha hecho los deberes y de que si esta dormida, que qué sueño, y después se sienta en la mesa y ni se la nota, se ve a una persona que sabe de lo que habla, vamos todo una profesional que hasta cuando se la "recuerda" que no tiene blog, sale airosa con un gran estilo. Y otra cosa que me quedó claro es que no soy la única que la aprecia.
